- Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
- You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
- Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you. - But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
- I spread out my hands to you;
I thirst for you like a parched land. - Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
- I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
- For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
- And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever.
- Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
- I, even I, am he who comforts you.
Who are you that you fear mere mortals,
human beings who are but grass. - You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar. - Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
- The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
- I instruct you in the way of wisdom
and lead you along straight paths. - I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples. - Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
- For I am the Lord your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you. - I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
- But I gave them this command: Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in obedience to all I command you, that it may go well with you.
- Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
- When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze. - My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
- Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
- My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you. But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.Next verse!With image
