- Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
- I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - Even to your old age, I am He,
And even to gray hairs I will carry you!
I have made, and I will bear;
Even I will carry, and will deliver you. - I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
- Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:
“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” - And I will walk at liberty,

And I will hear them. - In God (I will praise His word),
In God I have put my trust;
I will not fear.
What can flesh do to me? - I was sought by those who did not ask for Me;
I was found by those who did not seek Me.
I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’
To a nation that was not called by My name. - Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! - I have chosen the way of truth;
Your judgments I have laid before me. - Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You. - Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. - For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
- But I will sacrifice to You
With the voice of thanksgiving;
I will pay what I have vowed.
Salvation is of the Lord. - For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ - I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments. - I will be glad and rejoice in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. - I acknowledged my sin to You,
And my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah - As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
- I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living. - Whom have I in heaven but You?
And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. - I have made a covenant with my eyes;
Why then should I look upon a young woman? - He must increase, but I must decrease.
- Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
Save me, and I shall be saved,
For You are my praise. - I have set the Lord always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. - I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will tell of all Your marvelous works. - I will extol You, my God, O King;
And I will bless Your name forever and ever. - I have taught you in the way of wisdom;
I have led you in right paths. - And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
- I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples,
And I will sing praises to You among the nations. - Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For I lift up my soul to You. - For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
- Therefore I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
My God will hear me. - Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.”
- Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
- But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
- I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye. - Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
- ‘Return, backsliding Israel,’ says the Lord;
‘I will not cause My anger to fall on you.
For I am merciful,’ says the Lord;
‘I will not remain angry forever.’ - Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. - Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.
- And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
- I love the Lord, because He has heard
My voice and my supplications.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. - Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
