- God’s love was revealed to us in this way:
God sent his only-begotten Son into the world
so that we might have life through him. - But if you seek the Lord, your God, and you strive with all your heart and your soul, you will find him there.

- But whoever drinks the water that I will give him
will never be thirsty.
The water that I will give him
will become a spring of water within him

- Sing to God, sing praise to his name;
exalt him who rides upon the clouds.
Rejoice in the presence of this God
whose name is the Lord.
The Father of orphans and the defender of widows:
such is God in his holy dwelling place. - The crowds that preceded him and those that followed kept shouting:
“Hosanna to the Son of David!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
Hosanna in the highest!” - And when he had been made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.
- Beloved,
if our hearts do not condemn us,
we can approach God with confidence
and receive from him whatever we ask,
because we obey his commandments
and do whatever is pleasing to him. - Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, it will be enough for us.”
- Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life;
whoever does not believe in the Son will not see life,
but the wrath of God rests upon him. - As a father has compassion for his children,
so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him. - The way of God is blameless,
and the Lord’s promise proves true;
he is a shield to all
who flee to him for safety. - In my anguish I cried out;
the Lord heard my plea,
and I was saved from all my troubles. - After he said this, he was lifted up as they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight.
