| But be very careful to obey all the commands and the instructions that Moses gave to you. | Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence. And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him. | Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight. |
| But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. | Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who wait for His faithfulness. |
| And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the Lord your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul.
