| But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. | Truly the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love. |
| And it is impossible to please God without faith. | The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. | As a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him. |
