- Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.

They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked.
But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God. - Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure.
- No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit.
- I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
- For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God.
- For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.
- Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is made right in God’s sight—something the law of Moses could never do.
