It (4/4)

  • Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.
  • The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
  • And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
  • For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
  • And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
  • A gentle tongue is a tree of life,
but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.
  • But he answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
  • Wealth gained hastily will dwindle,
but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.
  • Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation.
  • Pray then like this:
    “Our Father in heaven,
    hallowed be your name.
    Your kingdom come,
    your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.”
  • Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work. It is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwelling places.
  • What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?
  • For a thousand years in your sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
or as a watch in the night.
  • For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?
  • For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake.
  • For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
  • And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.
  • Know therefore today, and lay it to your heart, that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.
  • And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
  • For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
  • Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret.
  • Many are the plans in the mind of a man,
but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
  • Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
  • But as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
  • In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

Bible verse of the day

Random Bible Verse

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.Next verse! With image
