- And the world with all its enticements
is passing away,
but whoever does the will of God
abides forever. - Whoever denies the Son
does not have the Father,
but whoever acknowledges the Son

Anyone who enters through me
will be saved.
He will go in and out
and will find pasture. - Whoever believes in me,
as Scripture has said,
‘Streams of living water
shall flow from within him.’ - Jesus replied,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
no one can see the kingdom of God
without being born from above.” - If you abide in me
and my words abide in you,
you may ask for whatever you wish,
and it will be done for you. - Until now, in my name,
you have not asked for anything.
Ask and you will receive,
so that your joy may be complete. - I came from the Father
and have come into the world.
Now I am leaving the world
and returning to the Father. - When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
- He is himself the sacrifice for our sins—
and not only for our sins
but also for the sins of the whole world. - For everyone born of God
conquers the world.
And the victory that conquers the world
is our faith. - No one has ever seen God.
It is the only Son, God,
who is at the Father’s side,
who has made him known. - However, to those who did accept him
and who believed in his name
he granted the power to become children of God. - Be on your guard that you do not lose what we have worked to accomplish so that you will receive your reward in full.
- And thus we can have confidence in him
that if we ask anything
that is in accordance with his will,
he hears us. - No one has ever seen God,
but if we love one another,
God abides in us,
and his love is made complete in us. - Beloved, I pray that everything is going well with you and that your bodily health is equal to that of your soul.
- I give you a new commandment:
love one another.
Just as I have loved you,
so you should also love one another. - Beloved,
let us love one another,
because love is from God.
Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. - And if we know that he hears us
in regard to whatever we ask him,
we may be sure
that all we ask of him will be ours. - For God did not send his Son into the world
to condemn the world
but in order that the world might be saved through him. - If we claim that we have fellowship with him
while we continue to live in darkness,
we are lying and do not live in the truth. - Jesus said,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
no one can enter the kingdom of God
unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” - Just as the living Father sent me
and I have life because of the Father,
so whoever feeds upon me will live because of me. - A thief comes only
to steal and kill and destroy.
I have come
that they may have life,
and have it in abundance.
