- May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us nor forsake us.
- Consequently, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His.

And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper. - The rich rules over the poor,
And the borrower becomes the lender’s slave. - As he came naked from his mother’s womb, so he will return as he came. He will take nothing from the fruit of his labor that he can carry in his hand.
- He loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - But make sure your statement is, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’; anything beyond these is of evil origin.
- The sum of Your word is truth,
And every one of Your righteous judgments is everlasting. - One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord
And to meditate in His temple. - For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God.
- For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously, and in a godly manner in the present age.
- Love must be free of hypocrisy. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good.
- For one will hardly die for a righteous person; though perhaps for the good person someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
- Realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and worldly, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, homosexuals, slave traders, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted.
- But when he had thought this over, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”
- The Almighty—we cannot find Him;
He is exalted in power
And He will not violate justice and abundant righteousness. - Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”
- For I handed down to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
- Keep deception and lies far from me,
Give me neither poverty nor riches;
Feed me with the food that is my portion. - Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary.
- For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts. - You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, so that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I am commanding you.
