  • Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
  • So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

  • It is not this way among you, but whoever wants to become prominent among you shall be your servant, and whoever desires to be first among you shall be your slave.

  • But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written: “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
  • A highway will be there, a roadway,
    And it will be called the Highway of Holiness.
    The unclean will not travel on it,
    But it will be for the one who walks that way,
    And fools will not wander on it.
  • For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it, either. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.
  • This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will achieve success.
  • What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?
  • This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
  • These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. And you shall repeat them diligently to your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down, and when you get up.
  • The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
  • Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I have given everything to you, as I gave the green plant. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
  • I establish My covenant with you; and all flesh shall never again be eliminated by the waters of a flood, nor shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth.
  • Therefore, whoever nullifies one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
  • Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine.
  • You shall follow the Lord your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him.
  • You shall not oppress any widow or orphan. If you oppress him at all, and if he does cry out to Me, I will assuredly hear his cry; and My anger will be kindled, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless.
  • And the Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. Then the man said,
    “At last this is bone of my bones,
    And flesh of my flesh;
    She shall be called ‘woman,’
    Because she was taken out of man.”
    For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.
  • Now if a person sins and does any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, though he was unaware, he is still guilty and shall bear his punishment.
  • Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.”
  • If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
  • For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
  • God, You are my God; I shall be watching for You;
    My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You,
    In a dry and exhausted land where there is no water.
  • So you shall keep My commandments, and do them; I am the Lord.
  • But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and as far as the remotest part of the earth.
  • But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you shall walk entirely in the way which I command you, so that it may go well for you.’
  • But He answered and said, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes out of the mouth of God.’ ”
  • What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
  • You shall keep My Sabbaths and revere My sanctuary; I am the Lord.
  • I am the Lord your God; walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and follow them. Sanctify My Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between Me and you, so that you may know that I am the Lord your God.
