  • Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them.   • For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.
  • Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
  • Blessed are the peacemakers,
    For they shall be called sons of God.
  • He shall cover you with His feathers,
    And under His wings you shall take refuge;
    His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
  • “Come now, and let us reason together,”
    Says the Lord,
    “Though your sins are like scarlet,
    They shall be as white as snow;
    Though they are red like crimson,
    They shall be as wool.”
  • Restore us, O Lord God of hosts;
    Cause Your face to shine,
    And we shall be saved!
  • Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    For they shall be filled.
  • Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
  • For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
  • Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave.
  • For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
  • And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.
  • Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
    But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.
  • The Lord redeems the soul of His servants,
    And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.
  • Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.”
  • When a man has taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war or be charged with any business; he shall be free at home one year, and bring happiness to his wife whom he has taken.

    But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.
  • But those who wait on the Lord
    Shall renew their strength;
    They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
    They shall run and not be weary,
    They shall walk and not faint.
  • And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”
  • But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
  • But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.’
  • So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
  • The Lord is my light and my salvation;
    Whom shall I fear?
    The Lord is the strength of my life;
    Of whom shall I be afraid?
  • For it is written:
    As I live, says the Lord,
    Every knee shall bow to Me,
    And every tongue shall confess to God.”
  • And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
  • What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
  • And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
