Let your light shine (3/4)

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.Come, let’s worship and bow down, Let’s kneel before the Lord our Maker.
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus.
Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.Your adornment must not be merely the external—braiding the hair, wearing gold jewelry, or putting on apparel; but it should be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.Let the peace of Christ, to which you were indeed called in one body, rule in your hearts; and be thankful.
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.Love must be free of hypocrisy. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good.
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me wander from Your commandments.
Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord.Let’s examine and search out our ways, And let’s return to the Lord.
Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles. So, having obtained help from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, stating nothing but what the Prophets and Moses said was going to take place, as to whether the Christ was to suffer, and whether, as first from the resurrection of the dead, He would proclaim light both to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.
But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant. It is not this way among you, but whoever wants to become prominent among you shall be your servant, and whoever desires to be first among you shall be your slave.
Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me.
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.Let no unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but if there is any good word for edification according to the need of the moment, say that, so that it will give grace to those who hear.
In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. In You, Lord, I have taken refuge; Let me never be put to shame; In Your righteousness rescue me.
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.Let the wicked abandon his way, And the unrighteous person his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.Everything that has breath shall praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. So then, let’s not sleep as others do, but let’s be alert and sober.
But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. But let justice roll out like waters, And righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. If we live by the Spirit, let’s follow the Spirit as well.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.“Come now, and let us debate your case,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are as scarlet, They shall become as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be like wool.”
Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.Repent and turn away from all your offenses, so that wrongdoing does not become a stumbling block to you.
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.’
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. My son, pay attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. They are not to escape from your sight; Keep them in the midst of your heart.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
