But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.But “he who boasts, let him boast in the Lord.” For it isn’t he who commends himself who is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.
Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise.Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”“Come now, and let’s reason together,” says Yahweh: “Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”
Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.Having therefore these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.
Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.My doctrine will drop as the rain. My speech will condense as the dew, as the misty rain on the tender grass, as the showers on the herb.
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus.
Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.Let brotherly love continue. Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.
Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.
Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.Therefore let’s not judge one another any more, but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block in his brother’s way, or an occasion for falling.
The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.Don’t let him who eats despise him who doesn’t eat. Don’t let him who doesn’t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him.
No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.
All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.
My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.
Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer.
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband.But, because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.Let no one therefore judge you in eating or drinking, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or a Sabbath day, which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christ’s.
John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.”He answered them, “He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise.”

However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
