Chinese (traditional)- Seek the Lord and his strength;
seek his presence continually. - They answered, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
- And steadfast love belongs to you, O Lord.
For you repay to all
according to their work. - Deliver me, O Lord,
from lying lips,
from a deceitful tongue. - Unless the Lord builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the Lord guards the city,
the guard keeps watch in vain. - But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.
- Therefore, my beloved, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord, because you know that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
- For once you were darkness, but now in the Lord you are light. Live as children of light.
- Happy is everyone who fears the Lord,
who walks in his ways. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - The one who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! - For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving,
abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you. - I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope. - Surely the Lord God does nothing,
without revealing his secret
to his servants the prophets. - And all of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit.
- Pursue peace with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
- Rise up, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand;
do not forget the oppressed. - And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he had prayed for his friends; and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
- For who is God except the Lord?
And who is a rock besides our God? - For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Turn, then, and live.
- For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel:
Seek me and live. - With the Lord on my side I do not fear.
What can mortals do to me? - So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
- The human mind plans the way,
but the Lord directs the steps. - Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you.
The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
he brings low, he also exalts.My times are in your hand;
deliver me from the hand of my enemies and persecutors. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.Next verse!With image
