Chinese (traditional)- Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely. - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
- So we say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?” - May your unfailing love be with us, Lord,
even as we put our hope in you. - The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and faithful in all he does. - For those who find me find life
and receive favor from the Lord. - From the Lord comes deliverance.
May your blessing be on your people. - For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God? - Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Be strong and take heart,
all you who hope in the Lord. - You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;
my God turns my darkness into light. - And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
- Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.
- When I said, “My foot is slipping,”
your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. - Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call on him while he is near. - The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore. - Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name. - In their hearts humans plan their course,
but the Lord establishes their steps. - The Lord makes firm the steps
of the one who delights in him. - Let us examine our ways and test them,
and let us return to the Lord. - But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
- I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears. - “Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord.
“Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord.
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”Next verse!With image
