- But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
- But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

but love covers over all wrongs. - And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?
- Rend your heart
and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity. - For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
- May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.
- My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
- Show me your ways, Lord,
teach me your paths.
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.Next verse!With image
