Chinese (traditional)- Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
- So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them. - “Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you. - And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
- When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.
- Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever pleases him. - But I have been the Lord your God
ever since you came out of Egypt.
You shall acknowledge no God but me,
no Savior except me. - Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.
- If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.
- No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
- Surely God is my help;
the Lord is the one who sustains me. - These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
- But from everlasting to everlasting
the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts. - Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him. - To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him. - For you, God, tested us;
you refined us like silver. - And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own.
- Why, my soul, are you downcast?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God. - There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.
- Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God.
Do not forget the helpless. - Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God. - I desire to do your will, my God;
your law is within my heart. - God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble. - Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water.See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.Next verse!With image
