Make (4/4)

  • Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity.
  • Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
  • May the kindness of the Lord our God be upon us;
    And confirm for us the work of our hands;
    Yes, confirm the work of our hands.
  • You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by people.
  • You lust and do not have, so you commit murder. And you are envious and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.
  • Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Your speech must always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.
  • The mind of a person plans his way,
    But the Lord directs his steps.
  • You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave unpunished the one who takes His name in vain.
  • Let me hear Your faithfulness in the morning,
    For I trust in You;
    Teach me the way in which I should walk;
    For to You I lift up my soul.
  • But I will sacrifice to You
    With a voice of thanksgiving.
    That which I have vowed I will pay.
    Salvation is from the Lord.
  • As sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things.
  • Many plans are in a person’s heart,
    But the advice of the Lord will stand.
  • As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.
  • Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will do it.
  • A gentle answer turns away wrath,
    But a harsh word stirs up anger.
  • For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.
  • Therefore let’s not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this: not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother’s or sister’s way.
  • But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given to You.
  • For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established; that is, that I may be encouraged together with you while among you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.
  • Urge slaves to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be pleasing, not argumentative, not stealing, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect.
  • You have also given me the shield of Your salvation,
    And Your right hand upholds me;
    And Your gentleness makes me great.
    You enlarge my steps under me,
    And my feet have not slipped.
  • Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
  • “Come now, and let us debate your case,”
    Says the Lord,
    “Though your sins are as scarlet,
    They shall become as white as snow;
    Though they are red like crimson,
    They shall be like wool.”
  • Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.
  • For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”

Random Bible Verse

And I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.Next verse!With image
