Chinese (traditional)- Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”
- Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean;
remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes;
cease to do evil. - Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.
- And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you.
- Whoever walks in integrity walks securely,
but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out. - You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. - Nevertheless, in your great mercies you did not make an end of them or forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
- Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love,
for in you I trust.
Make me know the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. - So I will show my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
- Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”
- I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.
- Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
- And you will say in that day:
“Give thanks to the Lord,
call upon his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples,
proclaim that his name is exalted.” - And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
- To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- And I will make them and the places all around my hill a blessing, and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing.
- Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths. - Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! - They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him.
- The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. - Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.
- Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
- Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand.
- But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.
- You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.A fool despises his father's instruction,
but whoever heeds reproof is prudent. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.Next verse!With image
