Bible Verses about 'Maketh'
- The Lord sends poverty and wealth;
he humbles and he exalts. - Anxiety weighs down the heart,
but a kind word cheers it up. - A gift opens the way
and ushers the giver into the presence of the great. - The blessing of the Lord brings wealth,
without painful toil for it. - Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. - A wise son brings joy to his father,
but a foolish son brings grief to his mother. - The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters. - And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
- And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.
- As you do not know the path of the wind,
or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb,
so you cannot understand the work of God,
the Maker of all things. - He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

and make all your plans succeed. - The Lord makes firm the steps
of the one who delights in him. - In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, Lord,
make me dwell in safety. - Restore us, Lord God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved. - Great peace have those who love your law,
and nothing can make them stumble. - Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. - Wash and make yourselves clean.
Take your evil deeds out of my sight;
stop doing wrong. - Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. - Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done. - For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Then I will pour out my thoughts to you,
I will make known to you my teachings. - When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow.

but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow. - May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.

you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand. - Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.

will sacrifice to you.

he enables me to tread on the heights. - No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
- And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.

- The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight. - In that day you will say:
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted.” - I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. - I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.
- Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun. - Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. - Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.
- I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.
