- The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
he brings low and he exalts. - Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down,
but a good word makes him glad. - A man's gift makes room for him
and brings him before the great. - The blessing of the Lord makes rich,
and he adds no sorrow with it. - A wise son makes a glad father,
but a foolish son is a sorrow to his mother. - Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life. - The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters. - And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
- And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
- As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.
- He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
- Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
- You shall not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
- Make me to know your ways, O Lord;
teach me your paths. - God, the Lord, is my strength;
he makes my feet like the deer's;
he makes me tread on my high places. - And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
- Make your face shine on your servant;
save me in your steadfast love! - And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
- Great peace have those who love your law;
nothing can make them stumble. - To make an apt answer is a joy to a man,
and a word in season, how good it is! - In peace I will both lie down and sleep;
for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name;
make known his deeds among the peoples! - Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! - But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
- If you turn at my reproof,
behold, I will pour out my spirit to you;
I will make my words known to you.
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”He only is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.Next verse!With image
