Maketh (2/3)

  • Repent at my rebuke!
    Then I will pour out my thoughts to you,
    I will make known to you my teachings.
  • When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow.
  • Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
  • Dishonest money dwindles away,
    but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.
  • May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.
  • You make known to me the path of life;
    you will fill me with joy in your presence,
    with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
  • Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
  • Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.
  • Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
  • But I, with shouts of grateful praise,
    will sacrifice to you.
    What I have vowed I will make good.
    I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.’
  • I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.
  • To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
  • The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
    he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
    he enables me to tread on the heights.
  • No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
  • And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
  • Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
  • The Lord bless you and keep you;
    the Lord make his face shine on you
    and be gracious to you;
    the Lord turn his face toward you
    and give you peace.
  • Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
    in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.
  • In that day you will say:
    “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
    make known among the nations what he has done,
    and proclaim that his name is exalted.”
  • I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
    where does my help come from?
    My help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven and earth.
  • I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.
  • Commit your way to the Lord;
    trust in him and he will do this:
    He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
    your vindication like the noonday sun.
  • Where can I go from your Spirit?
    Where can I flee from your presence?
    If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
    if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
  • Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.
  • I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word.
