Chinese (traditional)- Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
- He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. - But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.
- For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.
- For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.
- Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.
- Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.
- Can a man walk on hot coals
without his feet being scorched? - Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
- He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
- Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!
- No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
- Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
- Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
- While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.
- This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles. - Plans fail for lack of counsel,
but with many advisers they succeed. - Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. - Listen, my son, accept what I say,
and the years of your life will be many. - A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
- The father of a righteous child has great joy;
a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him. - The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all. - The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.Next verse!With image
