When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.When a man has taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war or be charged with any business; he shall be free at home one year, and bring happiness to his wife whom he has taken.

The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.
But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.
A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.A perverse man sows strife, And a whisperer separates the best of friends.
A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.A fool vents all his feelings, But a wise man holds them back.

O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass.I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you should be afraid Of a man who will die, And of the son of a man who will be made like grass?
Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, And before honor is humility.
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man.
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.
Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”
Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee.You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, And a word spoken in due season, how good it is!

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
