- Of all the creatures living in the water, you may eat any that has fins and scales. But anything that does not have fins and scales you may not eat; for you it is unclean.
- So that I may come to you with joy, by God’s will, and in your company be refreshed.
- I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.
- The righteous person may have many troubles,

lead me on level ground. - A person’s riches may ransom their life,
but the poor cannot respond to threatening rebukes. - Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.
- Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
- Seek good, not evil,
that you may live.
Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you,
just as you say he is. - Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
- Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. - I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love.
- The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
- May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. - Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
- I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
- May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us;
establish the work of our hands for us—
yes, establish the work of our hands. - And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.
- May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us nor forsake us.
