The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.
For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord.
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love.
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.

He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.
Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.”
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.
But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.
I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything.
And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’
Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.‘Return to me,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will return to you,’ says the Lord Almighty.
I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter.I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king.
Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me.
I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws.
And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
