Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Mighty God'
- Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you.
- On God rests my salvation and my glory;
my mighty rock, my refuge is God. - For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. - The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing. - Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city. - You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
- But let justice roll down like waters,
and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. - Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
- When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting.
- Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
- Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be made known in all the earth. - Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war arise against me,
yet I will be confident. - Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?
- And you will say in that day:
“Give thanks to the Lord,
call upon his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples,
proclaim that his name is exalted.” - That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.
- Who has performed and done this,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I, the Lord, the first,
and with the last; I am he. - But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
- Set me as a seal upon your heart,
as a seal upon your arm,
for love is strong as death,
jealousy is fierce as the grave.
Its flashes are flashes of fire,
the very flame of the Lord. - Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
- My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God? - Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
- For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
- So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
- For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God?
For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God?With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love. Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word.Next verse!With image
