Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.Arise, O Lord! Punish the wicked, O God! Do not ignore the helpless!
And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own.
Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.Now all glory to God our Father forever and ever! Amen.
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.Yes, God will bless us, and people all over the world will fear him.
Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.Now a mediator is helpful if more than one party must reach an agreement. But God, who is one, did not use a mediator when he gave his promise to Abraham.
No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.
For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.You have tested us, O God; you have purified us like silver.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.
And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.He replied, “What is impossible for people is possible with God.”
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.
For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
