- Whoever loves money never has enough;
whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income.
This too is meaningless. - For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
- Dishonest money dwindles away,
but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow. - Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
- Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.

- Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower.
- A person’s riches may ransom their life,
but the poor cannot respond to threatening rebukes. - Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.Next verse!With image
