Bible Verses about 'Money'
- One who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor one who loves abundance with its income. This too is futility.
- For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

- Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.
- Pay to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor.
- How much better it is to get wisdom than gold!
And to get understanding is to be chosen above silver. - But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given to You.

Than the abundance of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked will be broken,
But the Lord sustains the righteous. - A good name is to be more desired than great wealth;
Favor is better than silver and gold. - When you set your eyes on it, it is gone.
For wealth certainly makes itself wings
Like an eagle that flies toward the heavens. - For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.
- Furthermore, as for every person to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also given him the opportunity to enjoy them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.
- A rich person’s wealth is his strong city,
And like a high wall in his own imagination. - Riches do not benefit on the day of wrath,
But righteousness rescues from death. - But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him?
- I know how to get along with little, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.

But a prudent wife is from the Lord. - The Lord makes poor and rich;
He humbles, He also exalts. - As sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things.

And not to dishonest gain. - Better is a little with righteousness
Than great income with injustice. - The Lord also restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord increased double all that Job had.
- It goes well for a person who is gracious and lends;
He will maintain his cause in judgment. - When good things increase, those who consume them increase. So what is the advantage to their owners except to look at them?
- The rich rules over the poor,
And the borrower becomes the lender’s slave. - The wicked borrows and does not pay back,
But the righteous is gracious and gives. - And the one sown with seed among the thorns, this is the one who hears the word, and the anxiety of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
- Now the brother or sister of humble circumstances is to glory in his high position; but the rich person is to glory in his humiliation, because like flowering grass he will pass away.
- The ransom of a person’s life is his wealth,
But the poor hears no rebuke. - You shall not make other gods besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make for yourselves.
