Chinese (traditional)- Search for the Lord and for his strength;
continually seek him. - Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
- Search for the Lord and for his strength;
continually seek him. - And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?
- The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
- So let’s stop condemning each other. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not cause another believer to stumble and fall.

- There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
- Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.
- I have rejoiced in your laws
as much as in riches. - So if your eye—even your good eye—causes you to lust, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
- Everyone enjoys a fitting reply;
it is wonderful to say the right thing at the right time! - Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
- Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.
- How much better to get wisdom than gold,
and good judgment than silver! - The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’
- And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them.
- Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.
- You will show me the way of life,
granting me the joy of your presence
and the pleasures of living with you forever. - Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.”
- The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
- I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.
- If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
- When you pray, don’t babble on and on as the Gentiles do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again.
- The Lord keeps you from all harm
and watches over your life.
The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go,
both now and forever.
My child, never forget the things I have taught you.
Store my commands in your heart.
If you do this, you will live many years,
and your life will be satisfying.And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.Next verse!With image
