He will glorify the lowly with salvation. - “Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord God, “rather than that he would turn from his ways and live?”

- If, because of the Sabbath, you restrain your foot
From doing as you wish on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a pleasure, and the holy day of the Lord honorable,
And honor it, desisting from your own ways,
From seeking your own pleasure
And speaking your own word,
Then you will take delight in the Lord,
And I will make you ride on the heights of the earth;
And I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father,
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. - A fool does not delight in understanding,
But in revealing his own mind. - Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in distresses, in persecutions, in difficulties, in behalf of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my savior,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - My salvation and my glory rest on God;
The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. - My flesh and my heart may fail,
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. - For You light my lamp;
The Lord my God illumines my darkness. - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
My refuge; I will not be shaken. - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
My stronghold; I will not be greatly shaken. - May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
Lord, my rock and my Redeemer. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart triumphs,
And with my song I shall thank Him. - You are my hiding place and my shield;
I wait for Your word. - Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path. - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.
