From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.

neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. - For you are my rock and my fortress;
and for your name's sake you lead me and guide me. - Hear, my son, and accept my words,
that the years of your life may be many. - My times are in your hand;
rescue me from the hand of my enemies
and from my persecutors! - Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation and my God. - God, the Lord, is my strength;
he makes my feet like the deer's;
he makes me tread on my high places.
