Chinese (traditional)- And in that day shall ye say,
Praise the Lord, call upon his name,
declare his doings among the people,
make mention that his name is exalted. - For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
- I will extol thee, my God, O king;
and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. - I will be glad and rejoice in thee:
I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. - Yea, in the way of thy judgments,
O Lord, have we waited for thee;
the desire of our soul is to thy name,
and to the remembrance of thee. - To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
- And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
- And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
- Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
- Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. - And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people. - For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.
- Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - O Lord, thou art my God;
I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name;
for thou hast done wonderful things;
thy counsels of old
are faithfulness and truth. - But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
- Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
- A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
and loving favour rather than silver and gold. - I am sought of them that asked not for me;
I am found of them that sought me not:
I said, Behold me, behold me,
unto a nation that was not called by my name. - It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven,
and hath founded his troop in the earth;
he that calleth for the waters of the sea,
and poureth them out upon the face of the earth:
The Lord is his name. - Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
- After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven. - Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
