Chinese (traditional)- Behold, blessed is the one whom God reproves;
therefore despise not the discipline of the Almighty. - I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.
- You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
- Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”
- And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. - Get wisdom; get insight;
do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. - And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.”
- He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
- Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.
- For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.
- We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
- Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.
- Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”
- Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions.
- Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war arise against me,
yet I will be confident. - For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
- Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
- Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
- Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to do it. - Fine speech is not becoming to a fool;
still less is false speech to a prince. - So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
- But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love. But they who wait for the Lord
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.Next verse!With image
