Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King is coming to you;
He is just and having salvation,
Lowly and riding on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey. - Teach me Your way, O Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name. - In God is my salvation and my glory;
The rock of my strength,
And my refuge, is in God. - In God (I will praise His word),
In God I have put my trust;
I will not fear.
What can flesh do to me? - Therefore I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
My God will hear me. - If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
- I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous;
With favor You will surround him as with a shield. - Yours, O Lord, is the greatness,
The power and the glory,
The victory and the majesty;
For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours;
Yours is the kingdom, O Lord,
And You are exalted as head over all. - For You will light my lamp;
The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. - Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions;
According to Your mercy remember me,
For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord. - No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
- Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
But to Your name give glory,
Because of Your mercy,
Because of Your truth. - But now, O Lord,
You are our Father;
We are the clay, and You our potter;
And all we are the work of Your hand. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
Give ear to my supplications!
In Your faithfulness answer me,
And in Your righteousness. - Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God. - But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”
- So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
- I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples,
And I will sing praises to You among the nations. - Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
- My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up. - So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.
- Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. - But our God is in heaven;
He does whatever He pleases.
