Chinese (traditional)- Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.
- Hear my prayer, O Lord;
listen to my plea!
Answer me because you are faithful and righteous. - Teach me your ways, O Lord,
that I may live according to your truth!
Grant me purity of heart,
so that I may honor you. - I will exalt you, my God and King,
and praise your name forever and ever. - Remember, O Lord, your compassion and unfailing love,
which you have shown from long ages past.
Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth.
Remember me in the light of your unfailing love,
for you are merciful, O Lord. - Not to us, O Lord, not to us,
but to your name goes all the glory
for your unfailing love and faithfulness. - No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.
- No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.
- And yet, O Lord, you are our Father.
We are the clay, and you are the potter.
We all are formed by your hand. - My victory and honor come from God alone.
He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. - Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.”
- So God created human beings in his own image.
In the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them. - May the words of my mouth
and the meditation of my heart
be pleasing to you,
O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. - Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
- Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord,
for our hope is in you alone. - God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.
- Our God is in the heavens,
and he does as he wishes. - God blesses those who work for peace,
for they will be called the children of God. - But God is my helper.
The Lord keeps me alive! - Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.
- I have been the Lord your God
ever since I brought you out of Egypt.
You must acknowledge no God but me,
for there is no other savior. - The Lord will work out his plans for my life—
for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever.
Don’t abandon me, for you made me. - And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else.
- Let all that I am praise the Lord;
with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. - O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Glory to God in highest heaven,
and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. But blessed are those who trust in the Lord
and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.
They are like trees planted along a riverbank,
with roots that reach deep into the water.
Such trees are not bothered by the heat
or worried by long months of drought.
Their leaves stay green,
and they never stop producing fruit.Next verse!With image
