Chinese (traditional)- Yea, in the way of thy judgments,
O Lord, have we waited for thee;
the desire of our soul is to thy name,
and to the remembrance of thee. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
and give ear unto my cry;
hold not thy peace at my tears:
for I am a stranger with thee,
and a sojourner, as all my fathers were. - I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - O Lord, thou art my God;
I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name;
for thou hast done wonderful things;
thy counsels of old
are faithfulness and truth. - Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
- Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses;
for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth,
nor my transgressions:
according to thy mercy remember thou me
for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. - For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
- Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. - And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - Salvation belongeth unto the Lord:
thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. - O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - I will be glad and rejoice in thee:
I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. - For thou wilt light my candle:
the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
- Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. - He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good;
and what doth the Lord require of thee,
but to do justly, and to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with thy God? - O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the Lord our maker. - O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise. - O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people.
Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust.How much better is it to get wisdom than gold!
and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
