- O Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you; I will praise your name,
for you have done wonderful things,
plans formed of old, faithful and sure. - O God, you are my God;
earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land
where there is no water. - Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting! - Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things.

who are too little to be among the clans of Judah,
from you shall come forth for me
one who is to be ruler in Israel,
whose coming forth is from of old,
from ancient days. - I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. - O you who love the Lord, hate evil!
He preserves the lives of his saints;
he delivers them from the hand of the wicked. - Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! - I will extol you, my God and King,
and bless your name forever and ever. - Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! - For it is you who light my lamp;
the Lord my God lightens my darkness. - Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name;
make known his deeds among the peoples! - Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever! - I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.” - Salvation belongs to the Lord;
your blessing be on your people! Selah - Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
- Oh, how abundant is your goodness,
which you have stored up for those who fear you
and worked for those who take refuge in you,
in the sight of the children of mankind! - Hear, my son, and accept my words,
that the years of your life may be many. - You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you. - With my whole heart I seek you;
let me not wander from your commandments! - Return, faithless Israel,
declares the Lord.
I will not look on you in anger,
for I am merciful,
declares the Lord;
I will not be angry forever.
