Bible Verses about 'O'
- Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God.
Do not forget the helpless. - I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High. - Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth. - My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth. - He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God. - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
- Keep me safe, my God,
for in you I take refuge. - Show me your ways, Lord,
teach me your paths. - Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin. - Lord, save us!
Lord, grant us success!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
From the house of the Lord we bless you. - Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
save me and I will be saved,
for you are the one I praise. - Save me, Lord,
from lying lips
and from deceitful tongues. - For you, God, tested us;
you refined us like silver. - When I said, “My foot is slipping,”
your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. - As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, my God. - Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord;
Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cry for mercy. - But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high. - Restore us, Lord God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved. - “And with you, Lord, is unfailing love”;
and, “You reward everyone
according to what they have done.” - Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion!
Shout, Daughter Jerusalem!
See, your king comes to you,
righteous and victorious,
lowly and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey. - I desire to do your will, my God;
your law is within my heart. - In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
deliver me in your righteousness. - In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, Lord,
make me dwell in safety. - May your unfailing love be with us, Lord,
even as we put our hope in you. - Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield. - Teach me your way, Lord,
that I may rely on your faithfulness;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name. - Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, Lord, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all. - Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name. - Lord, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief. - Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,
for they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth
and my rebellious ways;
according to your love remember me,
for you, Lord, are good. - Not to us, Lord, not to us
but to your name be the glory,
because of your love and faithfulness. - Yet you, Lord, are our Father.
We are the clay, you are the potter;
we are all the work of your hand. - Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely. - You, Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures from generation to generation. - May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. - Help us, God our Savior,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us and forgive our sins
for your name’s sake. - The Lord will vindicate me;
your love, Lord, endures forever—
do not abandon the works of your hands. - You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar. - You, Lord, are forgiving and good,
abounding in love to all who call to you. - I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples. - Hear my prayer, Lord,
listen to my cry for help;
do not be deaf to my weeping.
I dwell with you as a foreigner,
a stranger, as all my ancestors were. - In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly. - Those who know your name trust in you,
for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. - I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors:
You have given me wisdom and power,
you have made known to me what we asked of you,
you have made known to us the dream of the king. - Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you and praise your name,
for in perfect faithfulness
you have done wonderful things,
things planned long ago. - You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water. - Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears.
That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.Next verse!With image
