I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples, and I will sing praises to you among the nations.

And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.You shall be holy to me; for I the Lord am holy, and I have separated you from the other peoples to be mine.
Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine.Now therefore, if you obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession out of all the peoples. Indeed, the whole earth is mine.
And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.And you will say in that day: Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known his deeds among the nations; proclaim that his name is exalted.
For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.For the customs of the peoples are false: a tree from the forest is cut down, and worked with an ax by the hands of an artisan; people deck it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so that it cannot move. Their idols are like scarecrows in a cucumber field, and they cannot speak; they have to be carried, for they cannot walk. Do not be afraid of them, for they cannot do evil, nor is it in them to do good.
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.Look! He is coming with the clouds; every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and on his account all the tribes of the earth will wail. So it is to be. Amen.
Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?See, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too hard for me?
Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.Because you are precious in my sight, and honored, and I love you, I give people in return for you, nations in exchange for your life.
The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them as their God; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them; he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.”
Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.Deliverance belongs to the Lord; may your blessing be on your people! Selah
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.
For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with victory.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for see—I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people.”
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.He it is who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.Even though you intended to do harm to me, God intended it for good, in order to preserve a numerous people, as he is doing today.
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.So then, a sabbath rest still remains for the people of God; for those who enter God's rest also cease from their labors as God did from his.
But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to make this freewill offering? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.
And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, in Jesus.”
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and curing every disease and every sickness among the people.
But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.But this command I gave them, “Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people; and walk only in the way that I command you, so that it may be well with you.”

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
