Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength. 1 Chronicles 29:12	Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all! This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit. I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath! Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress.

But I will sing of your strength. Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning. For you have been my high tower, a refuge in the day of my distress.
