- Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

- So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
- My son, do not forget my teaching,
but let your heart keep my commandments,
for length of days and years of life

- The Lord bless you and keep you;

upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
and with his wounds we are healed. - Turn back, and say to Hezekiah the leader of my people, Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.
- Hear my prayer, O Lord,
and give ear to my cry;
hold not your peace at my tears!
For I am a sojourner with you,
a guest, like all my fathers. - The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.
- For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
- Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise;
when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent. - Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called sons of God. - But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.
- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory! Selah - And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
