- Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
- By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,

- For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

- What is man that you are mindful of him,
and the son of man that you care for him? - He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
- For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
- O you who love the Lord, hate evil!
He preserves the lives of his saints;
he delivers them from the hand of the wicked. - Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts.
- And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
- That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
- He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.
- I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.
- You shall not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
- He loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord. - I have not departed from the commandment of his lips;
I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my portion of food. - Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
- And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”
- But I will sing of your strength;
I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
For you have been to me a fortress
and a refuge in the day of my distress. - To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ.
- For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
- Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in your sight,
O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me? If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.Next verse!With image
