- For you, God, have tested us.
You have refined us, as silver is refined. - I cried to him with my mouth.
He was extolled with my tongue. - God will bless us.
All the ends of the earth shall fear him. - Sing to God! Sing praises to his name!
Extol him who rides on the clouds:
to Yah, his name!
Rejoice before him!
A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows,
is God in his holy habitation. - God sets the lonely in families.
He brings out the prisoners with singing,
but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land. - Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens,
even the God who is our salvation. Selah. - My mouth shall be filled with your praise,
with your honor all day long. - My lips shall shout for joy!
My soul, which you have redeemed, sings praises to you! - Whom do I have in heaven?
There is no one on earth whom I desire besides you. - My flesh and my heart fails,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. - Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of your name.
Deliver us, and forgive our sins, for your name’s sake. - Turn us again, Yahweh God of Armies.
Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved. - Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless.
Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. - For a day in your courts is better than a thousand.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,
than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. - For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you. - Teach me your way, Yahweh.
I will walk in your truth.
Make my heart undivided to fear your name. - Before the mountains were born,
before you had formed the earth and the world,
even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God. - For a thousand years in your sight are just like yesterday when it is past,
like a watch in the night. - So teach us to count our days,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom. - Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us.
Establish the work of our hands for us.
Yes, establish the work of our hands. - He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.” - He will cover you with his feathers.
Under his wings you will take refuge.
His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. - When I said, “My foot is slipping!”
Your loving kindness, Yahweh, held me up. - In the multitude of my thoughts within me,
your comforts delight my soul. - Oh come, let’s worship and bow down.
Let’s kneel before Yahweh, our Maker. - You who love Yahweh, hate evil!
He preserves the souls of his saints.
He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. - Praise Yahweh, my soul!
All that is within me, praise his holy name! - Yahweh is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness. - As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. - Like a father has compassion on his children,
so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him. - But Yahweh’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him,
his righteousness to children’s children,
to those who keep his covenant,
to those who remember to obey his precepts. - I will sing to Yahweh as long as I live.
I will sing praise to my God while I have any being. - Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name!
Make his doings known among the peoples. - Seek Yahweh and his strength.
Seek his face forever more. - For he satisfies the longing soul.
He fills the hungry soul with good. - He sends his word, and heals them,
and delivers them from their graves. - I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations.
I will sing praises to you among the peoples. - Be exalted, God, above the heavens!
Let your glory be over all the earth. - The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom.
All those who do his work have a good understanding.
His praise endures forever! - Praise Yah!
Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh,
who delights greatly in his commandments. - It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends.
He will maintain his cause in judgment. - For he will never be shaken.
The righteous will be remembered forever. - Not to us, Yahweh, not to us,
but to your name give glory,
for your loving kindness, and for your truth’s sake. - But our God is in the heavens.
He does whatever he pleases. - I love Yahweh, because he listens to my voice,
and my cries for mercy.
Because he has turned his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live. - Out of my distress, I called on Yah.
Yah answered me with freedom. - Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me? - It is better to take refuge in Yahweh,
than to put confidence in man. - This is the day that Yahweh has made.
We will rejoice and be glad in it! - Save us now, we beg you, Yahweh!
Yahweh, we beg you, send prosperity now.
Blessed is he who comes in Yahweh’s name!
