- And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Return to Me, for I have redeemed you. - He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
- See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
- Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

- Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
- Can one walk on hot coals,
And his feet not be seared? - Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.”
- Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

- The vine has dried up,
And the fig tree has withered;
The pomegranate tree,

And the apple tree—
All the trees of the field are withered;
Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men. - I sought the Lord, and He heard me,
And delivered me from all my fears. - He sent His word and healed them,
And delivered them from their destructions. - Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.
- So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer.
- And they stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him. When they had twisted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
- Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.”
- Hatred stirs up strife,
But love covers all sins. - Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven,
Whose sin is covered. - But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” - Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.
And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. - Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”
- I called on the Lord in distress;
The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. - Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace;
When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive. - Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in his way. - What is desired in a man is kindness,
And a poor man is better than a liar. - For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.
- Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
- The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor,
But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered. - So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.”
- The generous soul will be made rich,
And he who waters will also be watered himself. - But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.”
- For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.
- Most assuredly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.
- Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.
- I have not departed from the commandment of His lips;
I have treasured the words of His mouth
More than my necessary food. - So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.”
- No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
