Bible Verses about 'Rise on the wings of an eagle'
- Why do you set your eyes on that which is not?
For it certainly sprouts wings like an eagle and flies in the sky. - But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall.
- He will cover you with his feathers.
Under his wings you will take refuge.
His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. - Though an army should encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear.
Though war should rise against me,
even then I will be confident. - He isn’t here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and the third day rise again?
- So then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered in, and he saw and believed. For as yet they didn’t know the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
- But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength.
They will mount up with wings like eagles.
They will run, and not be weary.
They will walk, and not faint. - These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
- For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with God’s trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.
- Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.
- For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
- Now why do you wait? Arise, be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
- As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, even as on us at the beginning.
- Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
but violence covers the mouth of the wicked. - Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come.
- Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

- Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day.
- Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God.
- Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stand on the path of sinners,
nor sit in the seat of scoffers. - For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears open to their prayer;
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!”
- Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
- For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory.
- Don’t think that I came to send peace on the earth. I didn’t come to send peace, but a sword.
- For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
- Before destruction the heart of man is proud,
but before honor is humility. - My doctrine will drop as the rain.
My speech will condense as the dew,
as the misty rain on the tender grass,
as the showers on the herb. - Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
- A fool shows his annoyance the same day,
but one who overlooks an insult is prudent. - But as it is written,
“Things which an eye didn’t see, and an ear didn’t hear,
which didn’t enter into the heart of man,
these God has prepared for those who love him.” - He who turns away his ear from hearing the law,
even his prayer is an abomination. - Don’t envy the man of violence.
Choose none of his ways.

but his friendship is with the upright. - Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

but those who do the truth are his delight. - When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them and they spoke with other languages and prophesied.

- Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the way.
- Therefore prepare your minds for action. Be sober, and set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
- Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation; you shall do no kind of work. It is a Sabbath to Yahweh in all your dwellings.
