Bible Verses about 'Rise on the wings of an eagle'
- Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone,
for they will surely sprout wings
and fly off to the sky like an eagle. - But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.

Blessed are all who wait for him! - He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’
- And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
- For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
- For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen— that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.
- Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then I will be confident. - As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning.
- The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are attentive to their cry. - So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
- Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

By living according to your word. - Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
- I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. - How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
- On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.

- These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
- One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple. - Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land,
you who do what he commands.
Seek righteousness, seek humility;
perhaps you will be sheltered
on the day of the Lord’s anger. - Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
- Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.
- Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
- Whoever would foster love covers over an offense,
but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends. - But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. - For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!
- And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
