Bible Verses about 'Samuel 1:1'
- The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
He brings low and lifts up. - No one is holy like the Lord,
For there is none besides You,
Nor is there any rock like our God. - But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
- Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
- For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him. - Therefore You are great, O Lord God. For there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

- I have made a covenant with my eyes;
Why then should I look upon a young woman? - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
- Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

Let me never be ashamed;
Deliver me in Your righteousness. - For in much wisdom is much grief,
And he who increases knowledge increases sorrow. - So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
- The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.
- But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
- Learn to do good;
Seek justice,
Rebuke the oppressor;
Defend the fatherless,
Plead for the widow. - For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful. - No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
- Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;
Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes.
Cease to do evil. - But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
- Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
- I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
- Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
- For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
- These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
- For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
- That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.
- And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
- However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.
- And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
- Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
- And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
- For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
- In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
- Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
- Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.
- Judge not, that you be not judged.
- The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
- For with God nothing will be impossible.
- “Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.” - We love Him because He first loved us.
- He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
- He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.” - Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
- Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
- Honor widows who are really widows.
