- And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
- Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
- Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.

his desires are not upright—
but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness. - Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
- See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.
- Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
I will not forget you!
See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are ever before me. - As goods increase,
so do those who consume them.
And what benefit are they to the owners
except to feast their eyes on them? - “Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)

See, your king comes to you,
righteous and victorious,
lowly and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey. - As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
- “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
- Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
- This is what the Lord says:
“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls.
But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’” - You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.
- I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me;
I was found by those who did not seek me.
To a nation that did not call on my name,
I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’ - I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
- How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity! - Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.”
- Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.
